Grew upon a farm in rural Wisconsin. Attended a one room country school my first 8 years.
Taught applied engineering courses. During my career of teaching I have taught many woodworking courses at all levels (grade 6 through adult). I have incorporated many other industrial materials into my design work.
Now that I have retired I have devoted much energy into creating custom barn quilts. I gave a few away as gifts, and people have encouraged me to market them to the public.
