Former Dean of Instruction at Ranken Technical College, St. Louis. MO.
Former Industrial Arts teacher at Kettle Moraine Area Schools, Dousman, WI
Employed as a patent draftsman for a patent design company.
Served with US Army, 13 months in Korea at a Hawk firing battery (38th Air Defense Artillery). Trained as Sentry Dog handler.
Received PhD from University of Minnesota (1979). Received BS and MS in Industrial Education from University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Certified Industrial Arts teacher in Wisconsin.
Grew upon a farm in rural Wisconsin. Attended a one room country school my first 8 years.
Taught applied engineering courses. During my career of teaching I have taught many woodworking courses at all levels (grade 6 through adult). I have incorporated many other industrial materials into my design work.
Now that I have retired I have devoted much energy into creating custom barn quilts. I gave a few away as gifts, and people have encouraged me to market them to the public.
